Desde el año 2013 la Universidad de Oporto ofrece todos los veranos un programa exhaustivo dedicado a la arquitectura. “Porto Academy”, organizado por la Revista Indexnewspaper, va en búsqueda de arquitectos que hayan desarrollado o que estén intentando una forma propia de hacer arquitectura y que se encuentren actualmente en la palestra internacional. El siguiente artículo profundiza en los workshops realizados por tres arquitectos chilenos: Eduardo Castillo, la oficina Pezo von Ellrichshausen y Cecilia Puga.

From the year 2013 University of Porto offers every summer an exhaustive program dedicated to architecture. "Porto Academy", organized by Indexnewspaper magazine, seeks for architecture studios in the international scene that had or at least has the intention to develop an own way of doing or thinking about architecture. The following article reviews the workshops directed by three Chilean architects: Eduardo Castillo, Pezo von Ellrichshausen architects and Cecilia Puga.

El siguiente texto intenta establecer algunas relaciones a través de arquitecturas recientes hechas en Chile. Intenta poner en evidencia un factor común que ha ido afectando la manera de hacer y pensar detrás de las obras de arquitectura que expondremos, las cuales a pesar de tener un origen en torno planteamientos comunes escapan de cualquier intento intensionado por postular o definir una teoría.

The following article intends to establish relations among some recent projects developed in Chile. It tries to demonstrate a common factor that has affected the way to 'think and do' of a small group of architects which are behind these architecture projects. This works, despite of having a common considerations on its origins, they are very far from an intensional attempt to promote or to postule a theory by their own.
